Just when you thought, could it possibly get better...Yes, it can!
Corsair has taken design to a new level from the C31 series.
The popular little sisters of the Corsair Cruze 970 were perfect testing vehicles for engineering a state-of-the-art fast, comfortable and reliable trailerable tri.
After building over three hundred C31s, she proved to be a strong and more than capable multihull for the toughest passages...
... especially if you consider setting records by navigating the Artic circle in a single season a worthy testament!
New and Improved
The Cruze 970 maintans the signature trademarks of the Corsair 31 - speed, performance, safety, reliability and ease of trailering.
The significant difference is its attention to crew and families - entertaining and comfort will be a new experience. The Cruze 970 is far more effective accomodating friends, partners and children on board.
The 970 has more length overall and the deck has been raised creating 15 per cent additional volume inside. One of the most noticable features is the full head room which your taller passengers will love!
The salon area is painted white giving it a clean finish. The galley features more drawers and storage...
... a genuine benefit for meals on those longer passages.
The forward and aft cabins feature wide bunks allowing more comfort for everyone.
The toilet on the Cruze 970 is now located between the saloon and forward V berth area providing more privacy and increasing function of the forward cabin.
The cockpit has been extended by moving the mainsheet aft and adding raised seating similar to the C37 giving you the feel of an aft cockpit boat.
You'll definetly notice the cleaner deck and extra room for entertaining passengers and finding room on extended voyages.
The new floats on the Cruze 970 have more volume increasing safety and performance. The improved stability at sea offers a comfortable ride for everyone.
Corsair’s trusted folding system ensures that trailering is a breeze. The retractable daggerboard and rudder enable the boat to be floated onto the beach where the anchor can effortlessly be wrapped around a palm tree.
